Beartooth Scenic Byway sign south of Red Lodge, MT. The byway goes to the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone NP, about 70 miles away.

This is where we were headed. The pass is at almost 11,000 feet and it looked like it was snowing.

It was. We stopped at about 9,500 feet on our way down the other side of the pass. Riding a motorcycle in a blizzard is no fun!

As we headed down toward Cooke City we took this photo, but then turned off on Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and took no more photos. It was so cold we wanted to do nothing but get back home.
