Obituary:
Owen Kehr, age 90, of Meadville, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
A funeral service will be Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Meadville with Pastor Richard Casady officiating. Burial will be in the Meadville Cemetery in Meadville. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.

Owen Royal, son of William and Verna (Sander) Kehr, was born May 7, 1923, in Bagnell. On July 31, 1943, he married Lois Gene Muck who preceded him in death on May 28, 2007.
Mr. Kehr had been a farmer all of his life. He was a US Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was a member of the Meadville America Legion Post 517 and the United Methodist Church in Meadville.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Finney and husband, Jay of Meadville, Dana Gray and husband, Charles of Chester, Virginia, and Diane Ward and husband, Craig of Meadville; nine grandchildren, Jason Finney and wife, Andrianna of River City, Illinois, Nathan Finney and wife, Megan of Kansas City, Jennifer Kienzle and husband, Keith of Chester, Virginia, Jessica Moye and husband, Seth of Apex, North Carolina, Marcus Gray and wife, Jess of Amherst, Virginia, Crystal Ward of Maryville, and Lacey Osmon and husband, Danny of Jefferson City; eight great-grandchildren, Alex and Jason Smith of River City, Illinois, Lily Finney of Kansas City, Owen and Andrew Kienzle of Chester, Vinginia, Parker Gray and Spencer Moye of Apex, North Carolina, and Danielle Gray of Amherst, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Marian Kehr of Meadville; a lifelong friend, Forestine Wayland of Kansas City; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
His parents; an infant daughter, Ruth Ann Kehr; six brothers, Henry Kehr, Jewel Kehr and wife, Erma, Merle Kehr and wife, Lola, Ronald Kehr, Herschel Kehr and wife, Verna, and an infant, Dewey Kehr; and one sister, Mildred McCaghy and husband, A. A. "Pat" also preceded him in death. /
